These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Miami Airport Taxi transportation services. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

Miami Airport Taxi is operated by FG Twelve LLC and is part of the Twelve Transfers network. For additional terms, visit twelvetransfers.com/terms.

Services Provided

Miami Airport Taxi provides private hire transportation services including:

  • Airport Transfers — Pickups and drop-offs at Miami International Airport (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)
  • Cruise Port Transfers — Service to PortMiami and Port Everglades
  • Point-to-Point Transfers — Private hire between any locations in South Florida
  • Meet & Greet Service — Driver meets you in arrivals with a name board

All services are pre-booked. We do not offer on-demand hailing.


Booking and Confirmation

Making a Booking

Bookings are made through our website (miami-airport-taxi.com) or by phone (+1-561-209-5466). A booking is confirmed when:

  1. You receive a confirmation email with a booking reference
  2. Payment is successfully processed (for pre-paid bookings)

Quote Validity

Quoted prices are valid for 24 hours from the time of quote. Prices may change if you modify pickup times, locations, or passenger numbers after initial confirmation.

Booking Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate booking information including:

  • Correct pickup and drop-off addresses
  • Accurate flight numbers and times
  • Valid contact phone number
  • Correct passenger count and luggage requirements

Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

  • Online: Log in at miami-airport-taxi.com → My Bookings → Cancel
  • Phone: Call +1-561-209-5466 immediately

Refunds for pre-paid bookings are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method.

No-Show

A no-show occurs when you do not appear at the pickup location within the waiting period and we cannot reach you by phone. No-shows are charged the full fare plus any parking and waiting fees incurred.


Waiting Time Policy

Airport Pickups

  • 30 minutes free waiting from your flight’s actual landing time
  • This covers customs, baggage claim, and reaching the pickup point
  • After 30 minutes: $1 per minute additional charge

We track your flight in real-time. Your driver arrives based on actual landing time, not scheduled time.

Hotel and Address Pickups

  • 15 minutes free waiting from the booked pickup time
  • After 15 minutes: $1 per minute additional charge

Parking Fees

Any parking fees incurred by the driver while waiting are passed on to you at cost.


Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

  • All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Cash (USD only) — available for daytime bookings between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
  • Corporate accounts (pre-approved customers only)

When Payment is Due

  • Online bookings: Paid at time of booking
  • Cash bookings: Paid to driver at end of journey

Currency

All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Foreign cards may incur currency conversion fees from your bank.

Receipts

Email receipts are sent automatically. Printed receipts available on request from your driver.


Passenger Responsibilities

By booking with us, you agree to:

  1. Provide accurate information — Including correct addresses, flight numbers, and contact details
  2. Be ready on time — Arrive at the pickup point within the free waiting period
  3. Treat the vehicle with respect — No smoking, no illegal substances, no damage to the vehicle
  4. Follow driver instructions — For safety reasons, comply with reasonable requests from your driver
  5. Secure children properly — Use appropriate car seats as required by Florida law

Prohibited Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a journey for:

  • Aggressive, abusive, or threatening behavior
  • Intoxication that endangers driver safety
  • Possession of illegal substances
  • Damage to the vehicle
  • Refusal to wear seatbelts

No refund is provided if a journey is terminated due to passenger misconduct.


Vehicle Standards

All Miami Airport Taxi vehicles:

  • Are licensed and insured for commercial passenger transport in Florida
  • Are maintained to manufacturer specifications with monthly inspections
  • Are less than 5 years old
  • Feature air conditioning, clean interiors, and bottled water
  • Are operated by licensed, vetted, and background-checked drivers

Oversized items (golf clubs, surfboards, wheelchairs) may require a larger vehicle. Note these during booking.

Wheelchairs and strollers are accommodated at no extra charge.


Child Safety

Florida law requires appropriate child restraints:

  • Under 4 years: Rear-facing or forward-facing car seat
  • Ages 4-5: Car seat or booster seat

Car seats are available on request:

  • Infant seat (rear-facing): $15
  • Toddler seat (forward-facing): $15
  • Booster seat: $10

Request car seats at booking — limited availability applies.


Pets

  • Service animals: Always welcome at no charge, no advance notice required
  • Other pets: Small pets in carriers permitted with $15 surcharge — notify us at booking

Liability Limitations

Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to $150 or the fare paid, whichever is greater
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control
  • We are not liable for missed flights, connections, or appointments unless directly caused by our proven negligence

Flight Delays

We monitor flights in real-time and adjust pickup times accordingly. There is no additional charge for flight delays — your driver will be there when you land.

Lost Items

We are not responsible for items left in vehicles. If you believe you left something behind, contact us immediately at +1-561-209-5466. A $20 return fee applies if an item is located and returned.


Service Guarantees

On-Time Guarantee

If your driver is more than 15 minutes late for non-airport pickups (when the delay is our fault, not traffic or weather), you receive a 10% discount on your fare.

Quality Guarantee

Not satisfied? Contact us within 24 hours at bookings@miami-airport-taxi.com. We investigate all complaints and provide partial or full refunds where warranted.


Modifications to Bookings

To modify pickup time, location, or passenger count:

  • More than 24 hours before: Contact us for free modification
  • Within 24 hours: Modifications may incur fees or price adjustments

Changes are subject to vehicle availability.


Intellectual Property

“Miami Airport Taxi,” our logo, and website content are trademarks and property of FG Twelve LLC and FG Twelve Ltd. You may not use our branding without written permission.


Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Before initiating legal action, you agree to contact us to attempt informal resolution.


Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes are effective when posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
